THE FACULTY OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION
1. OVERVIEW
With the approval of the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training under Official Dispatch No. 339/TCDN-GV dated March 17, 2011, permitting Ho Chi Minh City Vocational College to provide training and certification in vocational Education:
The Faculty of Vocational Education is a specialized academic unit under the College, responsible for: providing pedagogical training for teachers at all vocational education levels (Elementary, Intermediate, and College levels) in accordance with regulations on teacher training and development; and conducting scientific research in the field of vocational Education.
2. TRAINING PROGRAMS
a. Elementary Vocational Level
Based on Circular No. 38/2017/TT-BLĐTBXH dated December 29, 2017 by the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, which promulgates the training program in pedagogical skills for teachers at the elementary vocational level; certificate templates, copies, and regulations on certificate management:
- Teachers currently teaching at the elementary vocational level who need to meet pedagogical standards;
- Individuals who wish to become teachers at the elementary vocational level.
b. Intermediate and College Vocational Levels
Based on Circular No. 19/2011/TT-BLĐTBXH dated July 21, 2011 by the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, which promulgates the framework program for vocational Education training for teachers at the intermediate and college vocational levels:
- Teachers at the intermediate and college vocational levels who have not yet received training in technical Education or vocational Education;
- Individuals with professional, technical qualifications or vocational skills who wish to become vocational teachers or lecturers.
